Brief Description

With regard to forensic services, the National Institute of Forensic Sciences - Inacif has strengthened its institutional response through specialized care for children and adolescents victims of violence in the areas of clinical and forensic psychology at MAINA and MAIMI. From 2020 to April 2024, it recorded 186,576 medico-legal evaluations with the consent of the victims, 7,413 autopsies, and 193,989 requests for psychological expertise for women (Inacif, 2024).

Con relación a los servicios forenses, el Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Forenses - Inacif ha fortalecido su respuesta institucional a través de la atención especializada a NNA víctimas de violencia en áreas de clínica y psicología forense en el MAINA y MAIMI. Del 2020 a abril 2024, registró 186,576 evaluaciones médico-legales con consentimiento de las víctimas, 7,413 necropsias y 193,989 solicitudes para peritaje psicológico a mujeres (Inacif, 2024).
